Young Latinas supporting healthy relationships without the drama.
Bringing awareness of Dating Violence and Stalking to their peers and community.
"Mujerez" facilitates women’s self-empowerment and leadership development.
They help young women, like themselves ,to identify their strengths and build their self-esteem
so they can grow to be leaders in their home, school and community.
On Saturday November 7th and November 13th , 2010 these young ladies age 16 to 26 met at the
Latino Leadership Alliance of Bucks County for a 6 hour training provided by NOVA, A Women's Place and PICC
to help them gain the tools they need to be peer mentors on dating violence and stalking.
